China RoHS2
The Administrative Measures for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products (known as China RoHS 2) has come into force on July 1st, 2016 and no matter if it is CCC certified or not, most of HIOS products for China are subject for China RoHS 2.
1. China RoHS 2
China RoHS2 has come in force on July 1st, 2016.
HIOS products such as Electric Screwdriver, Power Supply, Screw Counter, Torque Meter, Screw Feeder, etc. are subject for China RoHS 2 and it requires the followings to sell the products in China.
①Packing boxes for the HIOS products above should be marked with the orange symbol logo with a number.
②A table of the content and names of hazardous substances needs to be attached or enclosed in the packing boxes.
Note: HIOS products without the both (a)(b) cannot be sold and used in China.
2.What HIOS does
HIOS has been implementing the both(a)(b) on the products for China delivered on and after July 1st, 2016.
3．Products delivered on and before June 30th, 2016
Products manufactured before July 1st, 2016 are not subject for China RoHS 2. They can be sold and used in China by proving that they are manufactured before July 1st, 2016.
The followings are how to check the manufacturing date of the HIOS products.
CCC certified Screwdriver・・It is indicated on the table of the content and names of hazardous substances enclosed in the packing box.
Torque Meter・・・・・ The date of calibration is indicated on the test report enclosed in the packing box.
Others・・・・・Please contact us with its model name and serial no.
