Chucking bit certainly picks up screws and improves work efficiency when fastening screws made of nonferrous metals such as stainless steel and brass that cannot be used with a magnetic driver attachment or work places where air suction cannot be used.

Chucking driver bit picks up even nonferrous metallic screws such as stainless and brass.
- A unique chucking method using our own leaf spring design is employed to reliably take screws to their fastening position.
- The screw will not unexpectedly drop out from the driver bit. This improves ease of use and takes work efficiency to a whole new level.
- Ideal for fastening screws at angles or inclines in hard to reach locations.
Chucking method
One of the four wings is removed and replaced with a chucking pin (leaf spring design) to reliably pick up screws.
- Regular replacement of the pin is recommended to maintain the chucking force.
- Replacement chucking pins can be purchased as spare parts.
Replacement of Chucking pins
1.Removal
Grasp the pin lightly with pliers and pull upwards.
2.Attachment
Hold the pin with pliers and insert by pushing the pin downwards until it reaches the bottom.

Example) If you order a chucking bit with Shank shape: HIOS shank φ5mm, Toppler cross hole number: M3.0 and total length: 80mm, the part number will be THSC5-30-80.

- ※In the case of a Totsupura screw with a thin head portion, the Totsupura cross hole number sometimes might be smaller than the one you usually use, so please contact us for the part number when you order the bit.
- ※It is possible to manufacture other Shank shapes, such as D-cut (half-moon) type, automatic machine type and screw biting prevention type other than H4, H5, 5HEX, 1/4HEX described above.
